Is registration open for ACSLS 2027?
Expressions of interest are open. Formal confirmation and participation instructions will be announced after host and venue arrangements are finalized.
How are country delegates selected?
Governments and participating partners will be invited to nominate balanced 20-person delegations using the published stakeholder composition and inclusion criteria.
Can private companies exhibit or pitch at the Summit?
Yes. Technology demonstrations, investment pitches, buyer engagement and solution showcases are central to the Summit. Contact the Secretariat to discuss a tailored role.
Can a country express interest in hosting a future edition?
Yes. Future regional editions and ministerial follow-through locations remain TBD. Governments and regional institutions may contact Livestock Futures directly.
Are the organisations named in the programme confirmed partners?
No. Organisations named in the draft programme are illustrative prospective contributors until confirmed through formal engagement and partnership arrangements.
Where and when is the Africa Climate Smart Livestock Summit taking place?
The inaugural Summit takes place from 23 to 25 February 2027 in Gaborone, Botswana. The specific conference venue will be published once confirmed.

This website is published in English, French and Portuguese. Summit proceedings in Gaborone will be conducted in English; interpretation arrangements will be confirmed with host and partner institutions.
