The Africa Climate Smart Livestock Summit 2027 (ACSLS 2027) anchors its mission in measurable continental impact by spotlighting nations that actively translate climate policy into commercial practice. Our Flagship Country Showcase features visionary African economies leading the continent in low-emissions agriculture, digital ag-tech integration, and bankable green investment pipelines. Rather than serving as a passive backdrop, our chosen host nation and showcase partners act as living laboratories. They offer delegates a firsthand look at how progressive regulatory frameworks, public-private partnerships (PPPs), and climate-resilient livestock value chains can be scaled to transform food security and drive regional trade across Africa. The ideal host country would combine established veterinary controls, animal identification, quality assurance, research capacity and experience serving demanding overseas markets. This would confer upon the host country a distinctive platform to demonstrate how sustainability can strengthen—rather than displace—productivity, competitiveness and trade.

The host country will be invited to present an integrated investment readiness case (to GCF, AfDB, World Bank, IFAD, etc.) linking climate-resilient production, animal health and market access, national MRV capacity, value addition and de-risked finance, under the auspices of their National Development Bank.

We invite expressions of interest from progressive African nations ready to position themselves at the center of the continent's agricultural and climate transition. The ideal host nation will serve as a premier diplomatic and commercial anchor, matching the following criteria: Strategic Policy Leadership: A proven national commitment to green growth, ambitious Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), and an active institutional framework for climate-smart agriculture. World-Class MICE Infrastructure: High-security convention facilities, elite hospitality networks, and a flawless track record of executing high-level, multi-track international summits. Seamless Pan-African Accessibility: Superior global flight connectivity and an open, progressive visa regime—ideally visa-free or visa-on-arrival—to guarantee friction-free travel for all African delegates. Premier Business & Innovation Ecosystem: A highly rated regulatory environment for ease of doing business, designed to catalyze private-sector investment, cross-border trade, and B2B deal-making. Future regional editions and a continental ministerial follow-through are intentionally listed as to be determined.
